"Such a warm welcome from many @mashable folks today. Can't wait to meet everyone and get to work," Ruiz remarked on Twitter. She also posed the question to followers "What stories would you like to see me cover?" before adding, "I'm loving these suggestions for @mashable story ideas -- favoriting them to keep track. Also: I want to hear from both men and women."

"This is big," executive editor Jim Roberts pointed out.

"Congrats, e-doppelganger + @Mashable!" reacted another Rebecca (R.!) Ruiz at The New York Times.
