Then there was the Arizona politician who mistook YMCA campers for migrant children, as told to us by Brahm Resnik with 12 News Phoenix (with an amazing 9,259 shares). "Womp - Ariz. cong candidate mistakes a bus of YMCA campers for migrant children, says he saw 'fear on their faces'," Politico's Hadas Gold deftly summarized.
And lastly, legendary Marine Maj. Zembiec, the "Lion of Fallujah," has died in the service of the CIA (with a staggering 14,663 shares), a Washington Post intern (!) Thomas Gibbons-Neff writes. As national security reporter Dan Lamothe points out, "To be clear: @washingtonpost intern @Tmgneff slayed this story about a legendary Marine doing CIA work when he died."
