ABC swaps weekend talent at GMA

ABC News' Paula Faris has been promoted to weekend co-anchor of Good Morning America, as predecessor Bianna Golodryga leaves the network to join Yahoo! News as a news and finance anchor.

"So excited for the next chapter in my career-joining @katiecouric & the great team at@Yahoo. Will always cherish my friends @abc & @GMA," Golodryga shared.

Co-anchor Dan Harris tweeted, "big congrats to my dear friend and co-anchor, @biannagolodryga, who's heading to yahoo. weekends won't be the same."

Meanwhile, Faris -- most recently a correspondent for all ABC News programs -- first joined the network in 2011 as anchor of World News Now.

"EVERYONE: Thank you SO much for all the love! I'm elated for this next venture @GMA alongside the incomparable @danbharris!" Faris tweeted, adding the hashtag #BestYetToCome.

"My former sports anchor is all grown up, big congrats to @paulafaris on her new gig at weekend GMA," responded Geoff Glick at NBC Chicago.
