Journo joins MSNBC on Clinton beat

Alex Seitz-Wald has joined MSNBC as a political reporter. Seitz-Wald was most recently with National Journal as a political correspondent.

"Some home news: I'm thrilled to be joining MSNBC digital, where I'll be covering Hillary Clinton and any Dems who may run against her," he tweeted.

"Yessss @aseitzwald is joining @msnbc! Everyone follow him right now," demanded Benjy Sarlin at the network.

And once Seitz-Wald started last week, he wasted no time getting to work: "Hillary Clinton open to constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. My first byline at @msnbc," he shared.

Managing editor Dafna Linzer noted, "Why yes, that is an @aseitzwald byline on an @msnbc story (busy 1st day!)"
