Jul 31, 2014

New York Magazine will soon welcome Lindsay Zoladz as pop music critic. She joins from Pitchfork, where she is currently an associate editor.

"OK, secret's out. Very thrilled to say that, starting August 11, I am going to be the pop critic at New York magazine," Zoladz shared on Twitter, later adding, "Also! Fun fact, I got my earliest assignments at p4k partially because @douglasmartini tweeted something nice about me, so thank u based MD."

"Thrilled that the great @lindsayzoladz is @NYMag's new pop music critic," responded NYT Style Magazine's Jody Rosen, who left that role with NY Mag not long ago. "Fantastic hire for--take it from me--one of the best gigs around."
