Additions and more at the AP

Aug 07, 2014

The Associated Press announces two more appointments: Bill Kole joins as New England news editor and Tom Berman moves over to Central Editor.

A past AP bureau chief and news leader, Kole's addition represents a return to the newsroom.

"My new boss called me a 'font of enthusiasm,' triggering awesome newsroom snark. Font nominees: Wingdings, Comic Sans and my fave: Playbill," Kole shares.

Meanwhile, previously Europe Editor, Berman will now oversee AP's coverage in 14 states, from Texas all the way to the upper Midwest.

"Congrats on your new appointment! Chicago > London, huh?" teased former AP journo Amanda Kwan.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
