At the very tippy top of our trending stories today is this report from Yahoo's  Adrian Wojnarowski that Cleveland has agreement to acquire Kevin Love, including contract commitment, according to sources (3,461 shares). "Everything is coming up roses for Cleveland these days," Huffington Post's Sam Stein marvels.

Simultaneously, things seem to be getting worse for members of LeBron's last team, as Miami Heat player Greg Oden is charged with battery after allegedly punching a former girlfriend in the face (518 shares). "NBA has a chance to take a stand against domestic violence that the NFL whiffed on #GregOden," observes Brian Eason at the Indianapolis Star.
