Question of the Day

Aug 08, 2014

Yesterday's question asked: Who was the first president to hold press conferences? That would be Woodrow Wilson, the 28th president, who held the first presidential press conference in March 1913.

Congratulations to Ken Walker of the Tampa Bay Times for being the very first to get that exactly right! Honorable mentions also must go out to Ron HarrisPaul DelColleIrene DeBlasioCraig PittmanAmy ZipkinHollywood HighlandsCarrie Gray and Annie M. Dance for getting that right, as well.

As for today's question, here it is: Continuing in the same theme of presidents and journalists, which president hired the first press secretary?
