Russian trucks have crossed Ukraine's border without its consent and conspicuously unaccompanied by Red Cross escorts, despite earlier agreements, the New York Times reports (789 shares). NYT's Daniel E. Slotnik poses the next natural question, "but do they carry aid or something else?" At the Times' Moscow bureau, Andrew Roth shares a twitpic: "They are in Ukraine. Only beige drivers behind the wheel. No Red Cross personnel visible yet. Ten have gone in."
