"Ask Polly" column moves to The Cut

Aug 28, 2014

Heather Havrilesky has left The Awl for The Cut at New York Magazine, and she's taken her "Ask Polly" column with her. As she explained in a post at The Awl last week, "Writing this column has been much more rewarding than I'd ever dreamed it would be when I first pitched the idea to Choire on a whim. I've gone from getting one or two letters each week to getting ten to twenty letters every single week, without fail. I love writing the column. I don't want to stop doing this anytime soon. "

And on Twitter, Havrilesky shared yesterday, "Last Ask Polly column on @AwlFirst Ask Polly on @TheCut. Both featuring sad animals!"

"Come read the first ASK POLLY (aka @hhavrilesky) on @TheCut !!! It's a good one," promises editorial director Stella Bugbee.
