VICE beefs up on sports

Vice Sports just added two: Jorge Arangure joins as senior writer while Aaron Gordon joins as staff writer. Arangure was most recently a contributor to the New York Times and a senior writer for ESPN the Magazine.

"Have officially joined @VICESports as full time senior writer," Arangure shared on Twitter. "Will aim to produce the adventurous, unique stories that defines @VICE brand."

Meanwhile, Gordon was previously a freelance writer, having written for such publications as Sports On Earth, Slate, Deadspin and The New Yorker.

With respect to his new gig, Gordon shares, "I'll be doing a lot of what I have been for the past year, but with health insurance. It's extremely exciting." We should think so!
