Meet the Press adds Luke Russert

Another Russert just joined NBC NewsMeet the Press: Luke Russert. Now a panelist on television's longest running show, Russert first joined NBC as a correspondent in 2008, when father Tim Russert, the program's longest-serving moderator, was still at the helm.

"#Congrats are in order for @LukeRussert, who landed a spot on MTP's weekly panel, and whose Buffalo Bills defeated the Chicago Bears in OT," tweets John R. Parkinson at ABC News.

In response to some minor criticism that Russert's MTP debut came off as a "network anchor in training," he tweeted, "Haha, I honestly took it as a compliment--Brian Williams in training, Scott Pelley in training, David Muir in training --an honor."
