CNN poaches again from Politico

For its three latest recruits, CNN Politics has returned to its favorite well of talent: its rival Politico. Eric BradnerSteven Sloan, and Jedd Rosche are the newest proficient poaches.

Most recently a trade reporter at POLITICO, Bradner has already joined CNN.com’s breaking news team.

"@ericbradner is moving to CNN. Not sure that's a step up from the Evansville Courier & Press but congrats anyway!" Doug Masson teased.

"Thanks! Hey, I'll always love the @courierpress, it's a great paper. But this platform is ... a little bigger," Bradner replied.

Previously Politico's deputy congressional editor, Sloan will join on Sept. 29 as assistant managing editor for enterprise reporting.

"Thanks for everything @politico," he tweeted, sharing this twitpic.

Finally, POLITICO’s deputy breaking news editor Rosche will soon follow suit, joining as (appropriately enough) CNN Politics breaking news editor.

"Boom x 3: CNN welcoming 3 journalists to our team: @stevenpsloan @jeddrosche @ericbradner. Welcome aboard all," producer Vaughn Sterling greeted them.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
