Time boosts four journalists higher

Changes abound at TIME Magazine! Matt VellaSam JacobsKelly Conniff and Mia Tramz (clockwise from left) have all been promoted.

Most recently a senior editor on the technology and business beats, Vella has been promoted to assistant managing editor.

"Cheers to @MattVella, whose coattails I plan to ride for decades to come," Jacobs tweeted.

Speaking of Jacobs, also previously a senior editor, he has been upped to assistant managing editor.

"Cheers to @sampjacobs. I can't imagine a better Joan Crawford to my Bette Davis," Vella tweeted in turn.

Once a social media editor, Conniff is now a senior editor, special projects. Meanwhile, Tramz was an associate photo editor, but is now promoted to multimedia editor.

"Many many congrats to @sampjacobs @mattvella @kellyconniff & @miatramz on their promotions at @TIME," senior news editor Dan Hirschhorn announced on Twitter.
