WaPo taps Goldfarb for policy editor

Be ye advised: The Washington Post's Zachary Goldfarb is now policy editor there! For the next six months, anyway, at which point there reportedly will be an option to extend. Formerly a White House and economics correspondent, Goldfarb joins the finance team to oversee Wonkblog and apprise Storyline.

"Congrats to @goldfarb, the post's new financial policy editor! He'll be focusing efforts on @Wonkblog," colleague and political reporter Aaron Blake filled in the blanks.

"Big congrats to @Goldfarb, who's becoming @washingtonpost's Policy Editor! A terrific reporter, sharp mind and good guy," tweeted national political correspondent Philip Rucker, also at WaPo.
