Fusion ropes in Atlantic's Madrigal

Fusion boasts yet another get: TheAtlantic's Alexis Madrigal joins the network as Silicon Valley bureau chief and anchor of a show. Currently the deputy editor of Atlantic.com, Madrigal is considered a luminary on technology and modern culture by many in his industry.

"I'm leaving my dear friends @TheAtlantic to launch things with the awesome team at @ThisIsFusion. Safe to say I have all the feelings," Madrigal shares on Twitter, continuing later, "And I am so excited for the new challenges of television, live events, and bureau building with @ThisIsFusion." He concludes: "And I believe @isaacleep is a visionary who can lead Fusion to amazing places delivering on the vision of championing a more diverse America."

At Fusion, Mariana Atencio greets him, "Welcome to @ThisIsFusion @alexismadrigal !!!! @isaacleep leading the charge with amazing hires,"
