AP snaps up LA film writer from EW

The Associated Press anoints experienced Hollywood reporter Lindsey Bahr as its next film writer. Most recently a correspondent for Entertainment Weekly, Bahr has reported on everything from casting to the Oscars to breaking celebrity news.

She'll begin her new job on Nov. 10, "[j]ust in time for awards season!" Bahr noted yesterday.

"Congrats @ldbahr on joining @AP Entertainment ... and a huge welcome!" greets East Coast Entertainment and Lifestyles Editor Shelley Acoca.

"Gonna miss you, @ldbahr. The @AP has made a great choice!" EW's Anthony Breznican surmises.

"Thank you for the outpouring of support from my friends and colleagues, new and old," Bahr addressed all. "Totally overwhelmed."

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
