Carla Zanoni departs DNAinfo for WSJ

The Wall Street Journal will welcome Carla Zanoni as global audience development director on Nov. 10. Previously director for social media and audience engagement at, Zanoni first got her start there five years ago as a neighborhood reporter.

"I'm thrilled to announce my new role as global Audience Development director for @WSJ. 140 char. can't say it all," Zanoni shared on Twitter.

"How awesome to work with the great @carlazanoni! We will miss you at @DNAinfo, but our loss is @WSJ 's gain!" DNAinfo's Hal Danziger congratulated her.

"PLEASE DON'T GO GIRRRRRRRRRL," pleaded Michael Ventura, adding this YouTube music video. "The @carlazanoni farewell mix continues. We had some Milli Vanilli, Skid Row. and this."

Looks like she was sent off in style!
