Featured journalist: Everett Rosenfeld

Please allow us to introduce Everett Rosenfeld, a CNBC staff writer on the finance and business beats, but always with an eye eastward; previously he covered politics, business, and international news for TIME in Hong Kong (and New York, as well)! Rosenfeld got his start at the Yale Daily News, but even before that, he served as editor-in-chief for his high school newspaper (although he jokes he "mostly did it for access to the in-school mini fridge"). For more evidence of his great sense of humor, he also claims he used a typewriter only once and "as a paperweight!" Rosenfeld's reporting skills are just as good, too: check out some of his latest work showcased in his Muck Rack portfolio, starting with this USA Today piece "American Dream is still alive, but unrecognized" (1,152 shares), or sample some of his Eastern coverage in "Why the Russia-China gas deal matters" (242 shares).

Remember: If you also want to be featured here, you should 1) set up your own journalist portfolio 2) get verified and 3) let us know by emailing Kirsten.
