Question of the Day
Yesterday's question asked: What are expected to "reach their peak" by dawn tomorrow, according to skywatchers? That would be the Leonid meteor shower.
Congratulations to Ken Walker of the Tampa Bay Times for being the very first to answer that correctly! Honorable laurels belong to Ron Casalotti, Craig Pittman, Francis Hinchey, Carrie Gray, Robert Fortner, Eugene Hunt, Hollywood Highlands, Christina Reed, Eve Byron, Rachel Roh (who slyly adds it's not a tiger shower), Mark Gibbs and Alan Blaustein for also getting that right!
As for today's question, here it is, with thanks to Francis Hinchey for submitting it: With Pope Francis trending on social media in advance of his trip to the U.S., 1) name the first Pope to visit the U.S., 2) tell us what other first he accomplished during the visit and 3) tell us the nickname he earned for all his travel outside the Vatican?
