San Antonio Business Journal adds two

The San Antonio Business Journal welcomes two more into the fold: reporter Stephanie Guzman and multimedia journalist Carlos Javier Sanchez, both of whom the publication hails as "key hires." Guzman joins as a reporter on the real estate and retail development beats while Sanchez joins as a photojournalist working alongside the reporting and editing staff.

Most recently a freelance journalist, Guzman also previously reported for Acorn Newspapers on the local politics and police beats. In taking over the Journal's real estate coverage, she replaces the newly promoted Tricia Lynn Silva, now assistant managing editor.

"Hey guys—So I've started a new chapter at the San Antonio Business Journal," Guzman shared on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Sanchez is an award-winning photographer who has published work in The New York Times, The Washington PostBloomberg News, The Houston Chronicle, TIME, even NASA--and most recently, Las Cruces Sun News in New Mexico.

"Goodbye Las Cruces," Sanchez tweeted one last photograph, before heading to Texas.
