Featured journalist: Traci Lee

Nov 19, 2014

Today we're pleased to highlight the work of MSNBC's Traci Lee, digital producer for The Rundown with José Díaz-Balart and Andrea Mitchell Reports. Also a contributor to NBC Asian America, Lee is committed to diversity in the media. She got her start in journalism, however, as an intern in DC for NPR News and Education Week, before going on to produce for Hardball with Chris Matthews and Martin Bashir, among other things. Lee covers everything from youth culture to race and ethnicity to politics, all of which you'll see reflected in her Muck Rack portfolio; you should start with "Phil Yu On Growing Up Korean American & Becoming Angry Asian Man" (132 shares) or "Son of slain Sikh temple leader to challenge Paul Ryan in 2014" (which earned a whopping 15,924 shares).

Remember: If you also want to be featured here, you should 1) set up your own journalist portfolio 2) get verified and 3) let us know by emailing Kirsten.
