Politico poaches TBT duo for new team

Politico is creating a new political enterprise team, and they've hired away two journalists from Tampa Bay Times to do it: TBT's enterprise editor Bill Duryea and writer Michael Kruse join the as-yet-unnamed team as editor and staff writer, respectively.

"Couldn't be more excited to join @politico with @michaelkruse. Thanks to @vermontgmg and @sbg1 for reaching south w/ this great opportunity," Duryea shared on Twitter.

"Such fortune to work for @bduryeatimes these last six years at the @TB_Times. To get to KEEP DOING IT AT @POLITICO?" Kruse chimed in.

Meanwhile, Politico editor Susan Glasser greeted them via tweet, "Delighted to welcome great journalists Bill Duryea & Michael Kruse to @politico!"
