Featured journalist: Devin Banerjee

We'd like to start the week off right by featuring Devin Banerjee, an Investing Reporter with Bloomberg News. This New York-based financial journalist covering the private equity industry has also contributed to Bloomberg Businessweek, Bloomberg Markets and Bloomberg Television. His byline has made appearances in The Wall Street Journal, reporting from New Delhi; the San Jose Mercury News; and Korea JoongAng Daily, reporting from Seoul. Banerjee got his start, however, as a "bright-eyed, bushy-tailed reporter for The Stanford Daily," where he also served as president and editor-in-chief, and he also was awarded the Daniel Pearl Memorial Journalism Internship. Stop by Banerjee's Muck Rack portfolio for a taste of his focus, starting with such headlines as "Classic Cars, Lean Hogs and Duchamp Art Lead Alternative Investment Ranking" (606 shares) and "Cerberus to Sell Gunmaker Freedom After School Massacre" (1,330 shares).

Remember: If you also want to be featured here, you should 1) set up your own journalist portfolio 2) get verified and 3) let us know by emailing Kirsten.
