Banjo departs WSJ for Quartz

After 7 years with the Wall Street JournalShelly Banjo is boarding Quartz as a finance reporter. Currently a corporate reporter on the retail beat, in her next role Banjo will focus on the future of finance--specifically technology, consumer behavior, and regulation.

"NEWS!! After 8 amazing years @WSJ I'm heading on a new adventure! Going to Quartz @qz to cover the future of finance," she tweets.

At BuzzFeedSapna Maheshwari reacts, "what a coup for @qz to get the brilliant @sbanjo from @wsj! a loss for the retail reporting world though :) congrats!"
