Question of the day

Dec 19, 2014

Yesterday's question asked: In honor of yesterday's news on Cuba, name at least three libations made famous in Cuba and exported to the U.S. and around the world! There are several possible answers here, so read on!

Congratulations to Craig Pittman of the Tampa Bay Times for being the first to answer three (he listed Cuba Libre, mojitos and daiquiris)! Honorable mentions also go out to his colleague Ken Walker (who also added "the presidente," named after Mario García Menocal, president of Cuba from 1912-20, and the Ron Collins) Carrie Gray (who added High Ball and Pina Colada to the list), Hollywood HighlandsMargo Howard (who gave up after Cuba Libre!), Cindi Lash and Dan Tynan, for all making a valiant attempt to answer this question!

As for today's question, here it is: A 27-year-old woman in Seminole, Fla. is accused of slapping a 72-year-old woman ... for what reason?
