Torbati reunites with Reuters on energy

Reuters welcomes back Yeganeh June Torbati as a reporter on energy policy. Previously a Reuters reporter based in Dubai, the new gig represents a return to news for Torbati after a brief hiatus spent working for a multinational media company.

"Very excited to be re-joining Reuters soon out of Washington," Torbati recently announced on Twitter.

"Glad to hear it, Yeganeh. Will you still be covering Iran and MENA-related issues?" asks Faraz Sanei with Human Rights Watch.

Torbati responds, "thank you! My beat will encompass energy/foreign policy, so Iran will certainly be a part of it."

Meanwhile, global enterprise editor Michael Williams greets her, "Welcome back to Reuters, @yjtorbati."
