Today in career highlights:

  • Poachapalooza! Reuters D.C. bureau chief Marilyn Thompson will soon join Politico as deputy editor, as current deputy managing editor Dianna Heitz (middle at right) prepares to take off for CNN Politics Digital. Read all about it here.

  • Bill Siegel will soon be director of news strategy at E.W. Scripps Company. Siegel is currently executive news director for WWL-TV New Orleans.
  • Sara Underwood is now a full-time anchor with Fox 25 Boston. Underwood was previously a fill-in anchor there.
  • Alternatively weekly San Antonio Current's next editor-in-chief is Hernán Rozemberg. Rozemberg previously served as metro editor for the Lafayette Journal & Courier and senior editor for FOX News Latino.
