Today's question of the day

Yesterday's question asked: A recent Washingtonian article reveals there's a town where no one can use cell phones, public wi-fi, or other kinds of modern technology. Which town is that, and why does the problem exist?  That would be Green Bank, W.Va, where a high-tech radio telescope requires "total technological silence to operate."

Congratulations to Ryan Gorman of AOL News for being the very first to answer that correctly! Honorable mentions belong to Claudine Laforce, Jeanne Kirk, Craig Pittman, @.l.interpretations, Marilyn Parel, Robin Kaplan, Lauren Tellman, Hollywood Highlands, Annie M. Dance, Hiram Reisner and Ken Walker for also getting that exactly right.

As for today's question, here it is: What did a professional athlete request during an event that could be considered an unusual wake-up call?
