Journalism job moves for Wednesday

Jan 28, 2015

Your career highlights for the day:

  • There's "more" in store for award-winning TV producer Betsy Fischer Martin, who crosses over to print to join More MagazineRead all about it here.
  • Did someone call for a doctor? Capital New York definitely did, after adding NewsonomicsKen Doctor as media columnist. Read our write-up here.

We're just full of puns today, aren't we? Meanwhile, elsewhere in the industry:

  • Elizabeth S. Bruenig joins The New Republic as staff writer with a focus on economic and legal policies, religion and feminism. Bruenig is a Ph.D student studying religion and critical thought at Brown University.
  • Ryan Young is CNN's newest Chicago correspondent. Young was most recently a reporter for WSB in Atlanta.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
