Kai Wright joins The Nation on features

The Nation just named Kai Wright features editor, charging him with editing all features, investigative reports and editorials, as well as helping the publication mine fresh talent and expand its digital influence. Wright is currently an editor at large with Color Lines, where he writes about race, justice, inequality and more.

"A bittersweet week! I'm saying bye to my brilliant @colorlines colleagues & hello to old friends as I join @thenation," he tweets.

"[I've] been awaiting the moment when I could tweet the terrific news that the great @kai_wright will be the new features editor at @thenation!" announces associate publisher Peter Rothberg.

"I am SUPER happy to announce that @kai_wright is joining @thenation as Features Editor," greets executive editor Richard Kim, which Wright retweeted and added, "Now I can get his editorial wisdom daily!"
