Friday's question of the day

Jan 30, 2015

Our last question asked: What unusual new feature is included in some of Japan's new “marriage hunting” apartments (at least, according to the Wall Street Journal, anyway)? And what's the creator's reasoning? Japan’s new konkatsu or “marriage hunting” apartments seek to encourage dating (and eventually marriage) with light-filled, airy pads for socializing, with one latest model featuring a stripper pole. “You can’t ignore sex and make a house,” the creator says.

Also, how awesome is that WSJ stipple drawing?

Congratulations to editorial maven Hiram Reisner for being the very first to answer yesterday's #QOTD! Honorable mentions go out to Ashley M. ApodacaKen Walker (who seemed a bit startled by this story), Josephine Dorado (who asks, "Why stop there? #MirrorsonCeiling"), Hollywood Highlands and Francis Hinchey (who advises "Be sure to have plenty of one-dollar bills") for also getting that exactly right.
As for today's question, here it is: Disney just announced its newest princess. What makes her "a first" for the princess line, and where will she make her official debut?
