CBS Radio taps White House reporter

CBS Radio News has named Pam Coulter its next White House correspondent, taking over for Peter Maer in the wake of his recent retirement. Most recently a Washington correspondent for the radio network, Coulter has covered the White House, Congress and Pentagon for more than a decade. Prior to joining CBS in 2011, she also reported for NPR and ABC Radio News

"Congratulations to the great @pamcoultercbs, who has just been named @CBSRadioNews White House Correspondent," news assignment editor David Goodman responds to the news.

"Congratulations to @pamcoultercbs named by @CBSRadioNews to cover @BarackObama and join the top team of @CBSNews White House correspondents," tweets Washington bureau manager Howard Arenstein.
