Journalism job moves for Monday

Your highlights for this lovely Monday morning:

  • The Washington, DC bureau of Bloomberg News amps up its White House coverage by adding Toluse Olorunnipa and Justin Sink on that beat. Read all about it here.
  • Today marks Anthony Quintano's first day back at NBC News, this time in a new role. Find out more here.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the industry:

  • Politico will soon welcome Kate Bennett as a gossip columnist, "in the spirit of Diana McLellan 'Ear' column from the Washington Star." Bennett is currently the fashion editor for Washingtonian Magazine.
  • Gabriel Arana joins the Huffington Post as senior media editor. Arana was previously a contributing writer to Salon, a contributing editor for The American Prospect and a guest editor at The Nation.
  • Sophie Brickman is now a senior editor with Saveur. Brickman was most recently a contributor to The New Yorker and The New York Times.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
