Wednesday's question of the day
Our last question asked: A plane had to return to its gate at LAX recently because of a passenger emergency, but it wasn't due to snakes on the plane! What was the reason for the delay? It was due to the discovery of a scorpion, which stung a woman. Crew members then had to search the plane for other "unwanted arachnids." Also, kudos to Perez Hilton for already having a gif ready for this.
Congratulations to journalist Jim DeLa for being the very first to answer that correctly (specifically, he replied, "r: There was a M*** F*** scorpion on that plane," which was great)! Honorable mentions belong to Tom Bastek (who adds, "Here I thought the plane was simply rocked like a hurricane"), Ken Walker (who notes "Still less painful than watching CBS's '</scorpion>.'"), Craig Pittman (who points out "Plane originated in Los Cabos where they are common"), Marty Ray, Marilyn Parel, Dan Rosenbaum, Ed Joyce, Margo Howard, Nichelle Stephens, Margot Williams, Corey Wesley, Hollywood Highlands, Ron Casalotti (who jokes, "Unlike, Christian Grey (a Scorpio?), who also will bite you (IFYKWIM)" ... actually, Fifty Shades' Grey is supposed to be a Gemini, but don't ask us how we know this. Okay, we Googled it.), and Cindi Lash. Our regrets to Andy McMacaronan, who was "[r]eally hoping the @muckrack trivia answer today is that the CEO of Korean Air's daughter didn't like the nuts she was served."
As for today's question, here it is: Who won the Westminster "Best in Show" award this week? (Did you agree with the judge's choice?)
