Poynter anoints new chief media reporter

There's a new chief media correspondent in town: James Warren will join Poynter’s digital team in April. Warren is wrapping up at the New York Daily News as Washington bureau chief.

Invoking a now well known media gaffe covered by the Daily News, NY1's Joel Siegel tweets, "Molotov to @JimWarren55, joining Poynter as Chief Media Correspondent -- and keeping his Sunday @NYDailyNews column."

Meanwhile, Poynter's Kristen Hare reacts, "Congrats to @JimWarren55! Looking forward to working with you @Poynter." Here's Poynter's full write-up.
