AP expands Europe team in London

Cara Rubinsky of the Associated Press will soon be an expat in London. Currently Assistant Central Region Editor in the U.S., Rubinsky is poised to next become associate Europe editor, in response to increasing demand for coverage there. In her new role, Rubinsky is charged with managing the European daily written report as well as oversee London's regional text editing desk.

"Congrats, look forward to seeing your London adventures!" reacts colleague Christie Hampton.

"So stoked for @crubinsky joining @AP's European news team. (Everyone keep mum about the Trafalgar pigeons)," warns former AP foreign correspondent Matt Moore.

Rubinsky replies, "Thanks Matt! I will give the pigeons a wide berth."
