Politico adds to 2016 campaign team

Mar 19, 2015

Three more journalists have joined Politico's campaigns beat in preparation for the 2016 election: Theodoric Meyer, Elena Schneider and Annie Karni. Meyer joins from ProPublica, where he was a reporting fellow. Meanwhile, Schneider, previously a new assistant at the New York Times, is assigned to the House races beat. Finally, Karni is wrapping up at the New York Daily News as a political reporter, but will join the team to focus on Hillary Clinton's campaign later this month.

"Excited to welcome three new @politico colleagues to our 2016 campaign team: @anniekarni @theodoricmeyer & @ec_schneider!" announces editor Garrett Graff.

"Mr. @theodoricmeyer becomes the third @mcgilltribune alumni to join @politico, after me and @timkmak," heralds Byron Tau, now at the Wall Street Journal.

At Capital New York, Sally Goldenberg chimes in, "congrats to all esp. fellow NY tab vet annie karni!"
