The Intercept names managing editor

The Intercept has found its next managing editor in Charlotte Greensit. Most recently Greensit co-founded and presided over Hybrid Vigor Media, a San Francisco media consultancy for digital strategy and content development, but her recent past also includes reporting and editing for both the international and the U.S. editions of TIME.

"In today's edition of inspiring media hires, the brilliant @cgreensit joins the essential @the_intercept as M.E.," tweets former TIME colleague Steven James Snyder.

Greensit adds, "And is loving the new job ..."

At Mashable, Heidi Moore responds, "YAY. (Also Charlotte we have the same roof!)"

Bobby Ghosh with Quartz calls it a "Smart, smart hire!"

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
