Featured journalist: Rachel Lu

We'll start the week off right by spotlighting the work of Rachel Lu, a Hong Kong-based senior editor at Foreign Policy Magazine. A founder of the Chinese media analysis site Tea Leaf Nation, Lu's work focuses China, media and politics. Born in Chengdu, Lu previously practiced corporate law in New York and Hong Kong and worked as a sovereign risk analyst before joining the journalism industry. Lu also has appeared on several broadcast media outlets, including BBC TV and Public Radio International. Check out her Muck Rack portfolio to sample some of her best and most interesting work, starting with "China's Real Inconvenient Truth: Its Class Divide" (74 shares) and the very intriguingly titled "Secrets to Rearing a Chinese Superbaby" (555 shares).

Remember: If you also want to be featured here, you should 1) set up your own journalist portfolio 2) get verified and 3) let us know by emailing Kirsten.
