Question of the day
Our last question asked: According to today's timely story on American flags by Heidi Heilbrunn of the Greenville News, how does one retire flags that have become tattered from use? The Pledge of Allegiance is recited, then the flag is cut into pieces, starting with the star field and followed by each individual stripe. Then it is ceremoniously burned.
Congratulations to CNN's David Daniel for being the very first to get that right! Honorable mentions go out to Ken Walker, Steven Herbert, Paul DelColle, Margo Howard, Rachel Roh and Hollywood Highlands for all answering correctly, too.
As for today's question, here it is: According to FiveThirtyEight's David Goldenberg, why does the oldest person in the world "keep dying?"
