Politico poaches from Re/code

Politico has snapped up Amy Schatz as deputy technology editor. Schatz joins from Re/code, where she is finishing up as a Washington-based senior editor and reporter covering tech policy. She also "recently wrote a five part series on D.C. innovation."

"Excited to be joining the tech editing team at @POLITICOPro so I can finally start bossing people around. (kidding!)," she jokes on Twitter.

"Congrats to ace tech policy reporter @Amy_Schatz on her exciting move to @politico," tweets Jason Oxman, the CEO of the Electronic Transactions Association.

Brian Wesolowski of the Center for Democracy & Technology chimes in, "they are beyond lucky to have you."
