WSJ's Danis joins Marshall Project

The Marshall Project is bringing in Kirsten Danis as managing editor. Currently the Northeast U.S. editor for the Wall Street Journal, Danis's investigatory talents will be put to good use at this publication with a focus on the American criminal justice system.

"Proud and happy to welcome @kirstendanis as @MarshallProj managing editor. Kirsten worked at the NYDN and WSJ - a rare and special combo!" shares founder Neil Barsky.

"Congrats, Kirsten!! @MarshallProj is THE best journalism I've seen. All the best!" tweets freelance journalist Tania Karas.

Meanwhile, at WSJ, colleague Angela Chen reacts, "Just sitting across from her put me in awe of @kirstendanis. Congratulations!"

"Not sure I can live up to this, but thanks, Angela! I'm blushing," Danis responds.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
