A Weigel reunion at WaPo

David Weigel will soon be linking up with the Washington Post as a national political reporter. You'll know Weigel from his political coverage at Bloomberg News, where he's covered Rand Paul and a host of other presidential campaign-related topics--including the farcical and fanciful "Whoa, If True" series. It won't be his first stint at the Post, however; years ago, he was a blogger there on conservative politics.

"What a great morning! The talented, one-and-only @daveweigel is coming to work at the Post. Whoa, if true," quips Philip Rucker there.

"Couldn't be happier to have a friend become a colleague. WaPo the single best place to work in journalism right now," reflects Wesley Lowery.

"Man, the Washington Post will hire anyone these days," jokes Weigel.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
