NJ's Kristin Roberts lands at Politico

Just a week after managing editor Kristin Roberts announced her departure from the National Journal in response to Atlantic Media's choice to shut down the print edition, Politico reveals she will join their ranks as national editor.

"Congrats to @politico on hiring the great @KRobertsNJ. There's a reason the whole newsroom's loyal to her," notes NJ reporter Lucia Graves.

"Congrats to @KRobertsNJ, a tremendous editor and leader. And best of luck to anyone who faces her red pen," warns tech policy writer Dustin Volz.

"The highest reporter-editor compliment is that you look forward to pitching stories, because they get better. Always true with @KRobertsNJ," praises senior political correspondent Shane Goldmacher.

"Gotta say, my crew is high quality. Thanks for the love today people," Roberts tweets. "Thank you to my @nationaljournal reporters and editors. So much."
