Question of the day

Aug 06, 2015

Our last question asked: Recently a basketball tournament disqualified a youth basketball team for what unusual reason? That would be because one active team member is a girl.

Congratulations to Craig Pittman of the Tampa Bay Times for being the very first to answer that correctly! Honorable mentions go out to Jason K. BurnettDan Rosenbaum (whose response was "Girls on the roster violated the 'No Cooties' AAU U11 rule. Someone tell Mo'ne Davis"), Tom Bastek (who notes "In that vain, can no women can answer today's MR question? dumb"), Jeanne Kirk (who answers "having a girl on the roster, heaven forbid!"), Ken Walker (who shares "Says the league prez: 'We have no problem with the girls sitting on the bench.' SMH"), Claudine Laforce (who calls it "unbelievable!"), Brian Smith, someone named Drunk Austen (yep, yep), Carrie Gray (who wonders "Ever hear of Title IX?"), Ron Casalotti (who marvels "Oh, and, we're talking 10-yr-olds here"), Jessica M. Pasko, who seems less outraged than others ("Because one of the players on the 'boys' team was actually a girl. (Those sexists.)"), Hollywood Highlands and Donna Ekart (who asks "Won't someone think of the children?") for all getting that right, as well.

As for today's question, here it is: Who are being labeled the "Lebanese Kardashians?"
