Media and more

No one can believe this, but Washington Post's Wesley Lowery and Huffington Post's Ryan J. Reilly really are getting charged with trespassing and interfering with a police officer. Here's HuffPo's statement on that, as well. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha f*** this noise," reacts journalist Adam Weinstein. Also, Brian Williams' suspension is over. "But is he back at 30 Rock? Does he have the same office space? NBC wouldn't say," points out CNNMoney's Tom Kludt. The 2015 Online Journalism Awards have also been announced. "Great to see so many #pubmedia @nprstations on this list!" comments Vermont Public Radio's Taylor Dobbs.

Meanwhile, Nancy Reagan (!) just invited 16 out of 17 GOP candidates to the CNN debate. Delia Paunescu at Newsday remarks, "nancy reagan is alive, prob still looks great in a red suit." At the same time, Fox News appears to have picked Donald Trump over Megyn Kelly. "Spineless Roger Ailes tosses Megyn Kelly under Trump campaign bus," is how Paul McNamara at Network World interprets it. Speaking of Trump, meet the other guy named Donald Trump. "The quiet struggle of Donald L. Trump, a well-respected oncologist who hears the same damn jokes every day," explains BuzzFeed's CJ Ciaramella.
