Margarita Noriega joins Newsweek

All hail Margarita Noriega, who is the newly anointed director of social media for Newsweek. Based out of New York, Noriega is charged with managing the publication's presence on social platforms as well as overseeing the cultivation of partnerships to extend Newsweek's reach.

"I've joined @Newsweek as Director of Social Media! I'm excited about the work they're doing and thrilled to join," she tweets, sharing the official announcement.

Noriega will report to managing editor Kira Bindrim, who posts, "@margarita joining @Newsweek got me like ..." and shared this gif.

Reporter Taylor Wofford chimes in, "Psyched that @margarita now has to like all of my tweets, even the dumb ones (all of them)."
