Question of the day
Our last question asked: Reporters in Las Vegas are trying to crack the case on what mystery? The mystery of who owns their newspaper, exactly. Harry Reid suspects it's GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson, who also just so happens to have an upcoming meeting scheduled with Trump.
Congratulations to Craig Pittman of the Tampa Bay Times for being the very first to get that right! Honorable mentions go out to Becky Yerak, John Wall (who alternatively suggests that it was "perhaps Trump?"), Ron Casalotti (who quips "I guess they'll have to wait and read all about it"), Edward Tenner, Fabiola Camacho (who notes the mystery mogul bought the Review-Journal "for so much more than it's worth! Hmm, does this mean I can afford one?"), Eve Byron (who adds "Bet they can make a credible case for transparency in their govt"), M Edward/Ed Borasky, Kay Bell, Ken Walker, Meredith D'Agostino (who calls it "the media version of the mystery of the man behind the curtain in Wizard of Oz"), Shawn L. Anderson (who joking quotes, "'We're gonna need to move you down into storage B.'"), Robin Tierney (who helpfully suggests, "Hmmm - maybe check paycheck for signature???") and Cindi Lash for all answering correctly, as well. Shout out to Margo Howard for guessing that the mystery was "Why the debate is even there" and Chris Lombardi for guessing, "How did Chris Christie get on the big kids table?" Very timely jokes, guys!
As for today's question, here it is: A Wheaton college professor has been placed on leave after doing what?
