Mashable names social good reporter

Jan 07, 2016

This week Mashable officially anointed Katie Dupere as full-time social good reporter, charged with covering inequality, activism, identity and "other news of social significance." Dupere has served as a social good intern for the site since May, with recent headlines that include "17 powerful ways people protested in 2015."

"Life stuff: Today is my first day as a full-time social good reporter with @Mashable. I am beyond delighted. Words simply can't explain," she tweets.

"Today’s a big day for Mashable Social Good. Firstly, it’s @katiedupere’s first day as Social Good Reporter, which is the best thing ever," reflects social good editor Matt Petronzio, before continuing, "Secondly, it’s @savonne__’s first day as our Social Good Intern. So excited to work w/ her & expand what we cover—issues that really matter."

Congrats all around!
